Ten Feel Good Instagram Accounts (In No Particular Order)

Ten Feel-Good Instagrams

Instagram isn’t just there for us to show off the highlights of our own life. Visiting other accounts can sometimes put a smile on our faces, teach us a new fact, or give us further ideas for our own accounts. When I say “feel good” I mean accounts that leave us feeling better than when we first visited their page.

You’ll definitely feel better about yourself about visiting this account. Colorful quotes, pithy advice, cute illustrations. Dani DiPirro is more than an artist she is also an “author and optimist”. In addition to an Instagram, Dani also has a blog and a book called Everyday Optimism. She has over 1 million followers.

Positive Vibes Only offers positive quotes against different backgrounds- the sides of buildings, street signs, and different images in nature. It’s all about “self-love” and “empowerment”. Its bio reads “Happy through bringing you all things self-love, happiness, and mental health”. They have 5, 280 followers.

“Let’s Talk Mental Health” This is more than just a page. This is also an app that has several tools including one where you can track your mood. The page offers polls, playlists, and even therapy referrals. As to the actual content, there are statistics, facts about psychology, and posts that raise awareness about mental illness. The group has 1.4M followers.

This account is exactly what it sounds like “words of wise mind” and it also is very similar to “positive vibes only” in that it is entirely quotes against different settings and backdrops from paper to posters to brick walls. The account has 302k followers.

Oh my God, I love this guy. The visual minimalist is a visual creator and he shows advice in creative ways. Okay that sounded lame. Truly, this guy is an artist and you have to check his stuff out to see he does things a little differently than everybody else. What follows is ages of scrolling until your fingers cramp up. He has 136k followers on his page (well deserved).

Welcome true brilliance. Gemma is a cartoonist who draws about mental health, social anxiety, and everyday things like getting your period. Her ideas are truly original and I always turn to her when I want a laugh. She is self-deprecating and witty. Her follower count is 946k followers.

self-love

Self Love Blossom is a self love/ community blog. It has daily self-love and mental health content. It also has an app. The page comes with self-care tips, polls, and free giveaways. The page is sort of a mishmash of different things: quotes against different backgrounds (again), self-help diagrams and yes, even memes. The follower count is 582k.

Planet Prudence is an artist/ cartoonist. Her page advises “leave your taboos at the door before entering”. She has her own website (planetprudence.com). She has a patreon, a shop, and more. Her cartoons are also on mental health and normalizing body standards for women. Her sense of humor is off the wall and she is worth spending some time with. Her follower count is 699k.

9) https://www.instagram.com/businessgrowthmentor/

This page is chock full of psychological and sociological facts. It's about self-improvement and self-help rather than therapy and mental health. Each post contains several little gems so don’t be afraid to click on it and see what it has to offer. Business Growth Mentor currently has a following of 2.3M followers.

Abbey Howe, Enneagram Education and Team Workshops, runs this page which is a combination of advice and humor. Enneagrams are personality types. There are nine of them in total. The page revolves around the different enneagram signs. She identifies as “your Enneagram Bff (And Certified Coach)”. She also offers training on how to find your enneagram sign, but I mainly go for the humor. I don’t even know my sign (shhh, don't thattell that). She has 101k followers.

We are all entitled to "waste" a little time online so why not turn towards any of these wonderful accounts the next time you're feeling down, uninspired or bored?
