Horror Movie Recommendations

Here are thirteen movies to watch this Halloween....that aren't just torture porn.

13. Texas Chainsaw Massacre Five friends stumble on a family of chainsaw-wielding maniacs. In Texas.

12. The Hills Have Eyes. Inbreds are so much creepier in the desert. You can see the original or the new one; just be aware the new one has sexual assault.

11. In the town of Woodsboro, Sydney Prescott has become the target of the Ghostface killer. I tried watching Scream 5 this weekend when I was sick. I couldn’t get through the first ten minutes.

10. Rosemary’s Baby. Rosemary (Mia Farrow)'s husband lets the devil rape her so his Satan worshipping neighbors can raise the Antichrist. They need some couples counseling.

9. Silence of the Lambs. FBI investigator tries to find out information about serial killer Buffalo Bill from the infamous Hannibal Lector who ate somebody’s “liver with fava beans and a nice chianti”

8. Saw X. The newest member on our list. Infamous serial killer Jigsaw goes to Mexico for an illegal brain surgery to cure his brain cancer that turns out to be nothing more than a scam. So he tracks them all down and exacts revenge.

7. The Descent. A group of cave explorers descend into an unknown cave…the wrong cave (this one will be really bad if you have claustrophobia).

6. The Ring. Watch the video and die in seven days. But its on VHS so none of us have to worry.

5. The Exorcist. A young girl is possessed by the devil. Enter the Catholic Church.

4. It (2017). A group of children in the town of Derry are tortured by an evil clown.

3. The Strangers. A home invasion where a bunch of people in masks break in and attack the people residing there. Why? “Because you were home”

2. Evil Dead. Friends visit a cabin in the woods. Bad idea?

1. Smile. A terrible curse: you see someone commit suicide and you are doomed to die…..the same way.
